I have been shooting airsoft for a few months now, my first site was AP in Billericay, the team I shoot with are regulars at Hockley and love the place so I decided to book up and see what the it was like, having been told about the lower 294 fps limit I was a little sceptical, also knowing it's quite a small arena that can accommodate around 25 or so I was not sure what to expect, Well I can say only positive things, it is an awesome site that's pure fast paced CQB room and corridor battles, it's a good size and is set out really well, The 294fps limit is perfectly fine in my opinion as I can assure you it will hurt if your shot, I took from what I can only assume to be a shotgun a double hit to the head just above my left eye, I was wearing a beanie hat and it still put me out the game for about 30 seconds whilst I waited for the pain to stop from the double welts so trust me the fps limit is fine, mostly the hits just sting so your well aware of being shot. The staff were all friendly, marshals done their job perfectly even taking a few hits from myself (sorry guys), games were also great fun, I will be a regular from now on and for those that moan about the fps limit then either buy a dedicated gun for this site or just simply learn how to change a spring otherwise your missing out on a great experience

Went there for one of my friends birthday parties. The air soft pellets can hurt (one of the experienced ones shot me with a proper sniper in the leg - even wearing thick clothing it hurt like hell and a mark is still there from a month ago). The staff there may have been seen as rowdy or shady (whatever, they seemed like most of us) but the truth is they managed the game effectively with obviously experience and helped us first timers to get the grips of it. It was very very fun (despite hurting a lot, no pain no gain) and Ive been watching air soft videos since. The milkshakes are amazing (Im considering coming back there for just that) and they have a lot to offer. Im very happy with the service - all Id ask for is some more options of play but otherwise its great. Thank you to the team at there

Great place to blow off some steam. Friendly atmosphere with excellent marshalls. Shop onsite with gear,bb's and gas. Games on Thursday,Friday,Saturday and Sunday at 1900. Organize Nerf wars for children and birthday parties. Would definitely recommend checking place out.

Staff are friendly and helpful. The shop is well stocked and Albert will be happy to source anything that's not immediately available. As for the arena it's a cool cqb site and is a good reason to practice those room clearances.

This is a site uses the space it has more effectively than some of the bigger sites I have visited. The safety briefing is short and to the point and the staff go out of their way to help. I have only been half a dozen times but on each occasion there have been new games mixed in. I read Mr. spectacles review and have to say I was there on the evening that this happened I think. I did not see the start of the conversation as I was in the arena playing but when I came out into the safe room the owner Amanda was trying to have a conversation with a man about a non refundable payment for a game from what I could gather he had reserved and paid for 2 places but only he turned up so he wanted a refund which was refused under the terms of booking. The gentleman with him continuously badgered her saying that it was discussing and stating that he was a member so this should be allowed. In the end Amanda who is a small woman and dwarfed by these two young men became exasperated and asked him to please shut up so she could be heard. The young man continued and Amanda finished her conversation despite the rude attitude of this young man. Earlier in the evening this same young man approached Albert and said he needed his M4 spring changed. I was in the shop which was very busy with people signing in and buying last minute bits and pieces. Albert said he did not have the time to change the spring but as it was a quick change system he should have no problem doing his self and described the process in detail. The young man left the shop only to return a few minutes later saying he could not do it and thrusting it at Albert. Albert took the gun and said he would change the spring but it would have to wait until the briefing had started and he was less busy. I would recommend that you give this site a try It is so cheap you have nothing to lose, I pay 15 for a 3hr game on a weekday evening and will defiantly be returning.
